In August of 2006, I made a remix to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata using Fruity Loops and submitted it to ytmnd.com's meme remix contest (though I don't think they were called memes back then). It got honorable mention.

A year and a half later in March 2008, the song was then featured in "The Pen is Mightier..." by AllenAwesome/StickemUpOnline on Newgrounds.

Over the past 16 years, this song has been forgotten, remembered, posted, taken down, reposted, and shared across many fan accounts on YouTube. To all the people who posted my music without waiting for me to respond to your requests for permission (I never responded), thanks for keeping the song alive. Moonlight Sonata by Oni Meteorix now has an official home on Bandcamp.
